Job Description

Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is a prominent and rapidly expanding healthcare provider offering urgent care services to the North Texas community. Designed with patient needs in mind, Texas Health Breeze provides accessible, affordable, and high-quality care for a variety of minor illnesses and injuries. From allergies and earaches to sprains and strains, the centers are well-equipped to handle urgent medical needs with convenience and efficiency. Operating daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Texas Health Breeze ensures minimal wait times and the ability for many patients to leave with medication in hand, emphasizing a seamless patient experience. Backed by Texas Health, one of the largest health systems in the region, the organization plans to expand to 20 locations across the Dallas Fort Worth area, reflecting its commitment to enhancing healthcare access in the community.

The Clinical Concierge role at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care in Plano, Texas, serves as a fundamental component of the urgent care team, working closely with providers, site managers, and other clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care. This full-time position requires flexibility as it involves floating across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care locations, with shifts typically covering 3-12 hour days including rotating days, weekends, and holidays. The Concierge is the face of the center, guiding patients and their accompanying guests through every step of their urgent care visit. This includes patient registration, vital signs measurement, laboratory testing, x-ray examinations, assisting providers with treatments, and patient discharge.

In this role, the Clinical Concierge is responsible for enhancing the patient experience by maximizing patient throughput while ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence are met. The Concierge collects and documents critical patient information in the electronic health record system (EPIC), performs diagnostic and therapeutic tasks such as venipuncture, administering medications, supporting minor procedures, and conducting x-rays within the licensed scope of practice. The position demands strong clinical skills, discretion, good judgment, empathy, diplomacy, and a customer service-oriented mindset. The ability to handle emergency situations is also required, including performing basic life support (BLS), oxygen administration, and timely notification of providers about urgent patient needs.

Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care has an established reputation for clinical excellence, evidenced by its receipt of several prestigious awards including the Best Urgent Care/Walk-in Clinic recognition by the Dallas Morning News and multiple Reader's Choice Awards across the region. Notably, the team has earned the Commission on Ambulatory and Urgent Care Quality (CAUCQ) Specialty Training Commendation, signifying comprehensive training in urgent care and patient experience. The Clinical Concierge role offers professional growth opportunities, supported by a strong unit-based council (UBC) and a collaborative team environment that fosters continued learning and innovation in nursing and clinical practice.

Additional benefits of working with Texas Health Breeze include a competitive compensation package and comprehensive employee benefits such as 401k, paid time off (PTO), medical and dental insurance, paid parental leave, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and student loan forgiveness programs. New Clinical Concierges receive high-quality orientation and training, including over 20 contact hours creditable towards medical assistant certification renewal. This role is perfect for candidates passionate about patient care, ready to contribute to a dynamic team, and eager to grow their clinical expertise within a leading healthcare network.
