Designed and staffed with the needs of North Texans in mind, Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care centers are well equipped to treat a wide variety of minor illnesses and injuries, ranging from allergies and earaches to sprains and strains. These centers operate with a patient-centric approach, maintaining convenient hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day of the year. They offer minimal wait times and the ability for most patients to leave with their medications in hand, enhancing the overall patient experience. Backed by Texas Health, one of the region’s largest health systems, Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care plans to open 20 locations across the Dallas Fort Worth area, reflecting its commitment to accessibility and quality care.

The role of Clinical Concierge at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is crucial in ensuring an efficient, compassionate, and high-quality experience for every patient and their guests. The Clinical Concierge, a versatile healthcare professional, acts as a clinical guide and support throughout the urgent care visit, significantly improving throughput and contributing to the delivery of clinical excellence. This full-time position involves working three 12-hour shifts per week, including rotating days, weekends, and holidays, with hours running from 7:45 AM to 8:15 PM. The Clinical Concierge floats across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care locations, providing flexibility and exposure to various urgent care environments.

The Clinical Concierge's responsibilities encompass a broad range of duties including assisting providers with patient care and treatment, conducting laboratory and x-ray examinations, and performing patient registration and payment collection. This role demands proficiency in using the EPIC electronic health records system for documenting patient information such as vitals, chief complaints, allergies, health history, and current medications, ensuring accurate and timely communication with healthcare providers. The Clinical Concierge is also responsible for performing diagnostic x-rays within the licensed scope of practice, assisting with orthopedic procedures, maintaining sterile fields during treatments, and managing office supplies and medical inventory.

Moreover, the role requires superb interpersonal skills to build trust and comfort with patients and their secondary guests, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and excellent customer service. The Clinical Concierge must be adept at quickly recognizing and responding to emergent situations, including performing Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and administering oxygen as needed. Additional duties include scheduling primary care referrals and conducting quality checks throughout the facility, all contributing to an efficient and patient-focused urgent care environment.

Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care has received several accolades recognizing its excellence in urgent care services. These include the Gold Award for Best Urgent Care/Walk-in Clinic by the Dallas Morning News in 2024, finalist honors from local media outlets such as Star Local Media Plano and Southlake Style, as well as recognition from Denton and Living Magazine for best urgent care clinics across several cities. The organization has also earned the prestigious Commission on Ambulatory and Urgent Care Quality (CAUCQ) Specialty Training Commendation, which highlights its commitment to specialized clinical and patient experience training.

Joining Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care as a Clinical Concierge offers excellent professional growth opportunities in a supportive team environment. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package including 401k, paid time off, medical and dental insurance, paid parental leave, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and student loan forgiveness programs. This role offers a rewarding career path for those passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and thriving in a dynamic urgent care setting.
