Job Description

Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is a vital part of the Texas Health Resources system, one of the largest health systems in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Designed specifically with the needs of North Texans in mind, these urgent care centers offer convenient, high-quality medical services for minor illnesses and injuries. With a focus on accessibility, the centers are open every day of the year from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., providing a patient-centric approach that minimizes wait times and often allows patients to leave with their prescribed medications in hand the same day. Texas Health Breeze plans to expand, aiming to establish 20 locations throughout the Dallas Fort Worth area by summer 2021, reflecting its commitment to meeting the community's growing demand for prompt, affordable healthcare. Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care has earned several accolades for excellence, including the Best in DFW 2024 Gold award for Best Urgent Care/Walk-in Clinic and recognition in the Denton People’s Choice Awards among others, a testament to its commitment to quality and patient experience.

The Clinical Concierge role at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is essential in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for patients and their guests. This full-time position involves a dynamic range of responsibilities that float across multiple urgent care sites, requiring flexibility and clinical expertise. Working three 12-hour shifts per week on a rotating schedule that includes days, weekends, and holidays, the Clinical Concierge operates from 7:45 AM to 8:15 PM. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent patient care and contributing to efficient healthcare delivery in a fast-paced environment. The primary function of the Clinical Concierge is to serve as a dedicated guide for patients throughout their urgent care visits, enhancing their experience by optimizing throughput and ensuring clinical excellence.

In this position, the Clinical Concierge supports providers with direct patient care, laboratory testing, x-ray examinations, medication administration, and various clinical procedures. This person also handles patient registration, payment collection, rooming, and discharge processes. Mastery of electronic health records, particularly EPIC workflow, is required, as is the ability to perform a range of clinical tasks including vital signs measurement, lab work, and diagnostic x-rays within the licensed scope of practice. The role demands strong interpersonal skills, discretion, sound judgment, and a patient-focused approach to build trust and rapport with consumers and their families. Teamwork is paramount, with the Concierge working closely with site managers, providers, and other clinical staff to maintain high standards of care and operational efficiency.

The environment at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is supportive and growth-oriented, offering professional development opportunities including continuing education credits during orientation that count towards medical assistant certification renewals. Employees benefit from a strong unit-based council and a culture dedicated to nursing education, research, and innovation in practice. Texas Health Breeze not only prioritizes exceptional patient care but also the growth and well-being of its employees, providing comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, PTO, paid parental leave, 401k, tuition reimbursement, and student loan forgiveness. Working as a Clinical Concierge at Texas Health Breeze means being part of a respected team recognized for ambulatory care quality with a specialty training commendation, and having a chance to make a meaningful impact on the health and lives of the North Texas community.
