Job Requirements
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
- Washington State Medical Assistant Interim Certification acceptable for up to one year or until MA-C issued
- Current BLS certification or can be obtained via in-house training
- Minimum one (1) year experience in physician's office or medical facility preferred
- Exceptions for externship or residency program participants with active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire
- For Idaho: Current CMA certification by AAMA, NHA or NCCT
- WA state MA-C or WA state MA-R license endorsed by Indigo within first 30 days
- Flexible schedule
- Ability to work three 12-hour shifts from 8am to 8pm
Job Qualifications
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
- Current BLS certification or obtain through in-house training program
- Minimum one (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA, NHA or NCCT for Idaho applicants
- WA state MA-C license or WA state MA-R license endorsed by Indigo within 30 days for Idaho employees
- Exceptions for applicants with active or pending MA-R certification within 7 days of hire
Job Duties
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
- Perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
- Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients
- Support the unit through excellent patient customer service and clinic management assistance
