The Clinical Concierge Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) role at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care in Flower Mound, Texas, is a full-time position requiring three 12-hour shifts per week, including rotating days, weekends, and holidays with working hours between 7:45 AM and 8:15 PM. This role floats across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care locations, providing flexibility and diverse clinical experience. The Clinical Concierge acts as a critical link between patients and providers, focusing on optimizing patient throughput while ensuring clinical excellence throughout the urgent care visit. Responsibilities span multiple clinical functions, including assisting providers during patient care, performing laboratory testing and diagnostic x-rays, and managing patient registration, payment collection, rooming, and discharge processes.

As a Clinical Concierge LMRT, the professional will use their proficiency in radiologic technology, specifically chest, extremities, skull, and spine imaging, to perform diagnostic x-rays compliant with established protocols. Beyond radiologic duties, this role supports providers with clinical procedures such as laceration repairs, incision and drainage, and application of orthopedic goods. The Concierge also administers medications when appropriately credentialed and maintains accurate electronic medical records using the EPIC workflow system. Demonstrating discretion, excellent judgment, diplomacy, and a professional bedside manner is crucial for building trust and rapport with patients and their guests. Immediate recognition of emergent situations and provision of emergency interventions such as basic life support and oxygen administration form a vital part of this role.

Job Requirements

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent
  • completion of approved LMRT training program with proficiency in chest extremities skull and spine
  • 6 months previous x-ray experience or internal THR LMRT training program completion
  • LMRT license issued by Texas Medical Board with required specialties upon hire
  • BCLS certification maintained every 2 years required within 30 days of hire
  • THR Urine Drug Collector training required within 30 days of hire
  • ability to provide independent patient care

Job Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent
  • completion of approved LMRT training program with proficiency in chest extremities skull and spine
  • successful completion of a Medical Assistant education program preferred
  • 6 months previous x-ray experience or completion of an internal Texas Health Resources LMRT training program
  • 6 months previous healthcare facility clinical experience as LVN MA CNA or other patient care role preferred
  • licensed LMRT issued by Texas Medical Board with specified specialties upon hire
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred and required prior to administering injections
  • BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire
  • THR Urine Drug Collector training required within 30 days of hire
  • experience with electronic health record systems
  • orthopedic and straight-arm x-ray experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Collect identification and payor related documentation and conduct registration using EPIC workflow
  • measure and document vital signs and communicate resulting data to consumer and provider including temperature pulse oxygen saturation respiration blood pressure height weight and pain level
  • document chief complaint allergies health history and current medications accurately in EPIC for provider review
  • perform and document laboratory testing and collections per provider orders and standard operating procedures including venipuncture with competency check-off
  • administer and document oral and intramuscular medications using appropriate medication verification workflow and perform injections if credentialed as Medical Assistant
  • assist provider with clinical procedures including maintaining sterile field laceration repair incision and drainage and application of orthopedic goods
  • perform diagnostic x-rays within licensed scope following established protocols and ensure image transfer and documentation in medical record
  • behave professionally and empathetically to build trust comfort understanding and relationships with consumers and guests
  • welcome consumers and guests including greeting inquiry about visit and screening questions
  • recognize and notify provider of emergent patients perform basic life support provide oxygen and assist in emergency care
  • schedule appointments for primary care referrals
  • maintain supplies and medications at appropriate par levels
  • perform quality checks throughout the facility per policies and procedures
  • perform other duties as assigned
