Job Description
Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is a leading healthcare provider in North Texas, designed and staffed to meet the urgent care needs of the community with a focus on convenience, quality, and patient-centered service. As part of the Texas Health Resources system, one of the region's largest health systems, Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care offers timely treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, ensuring patients enjoy minimal wait times and comprehensive care during extended hours. Operating from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day of the year, the centers provide essential services ranging from allergy relief and earache care to treatment for sprains and strains, often allowing patients to leave with medications in hand. The network is expanding rapidly with plans to open over 20 locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, solidifying its commitment to accessible healthcare.
The Clinical Concierge Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) position at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care in McKinney, Texas, is a vital role that combines clinical expertise with outstanding customer service to enhance the patient experience. This full-time role, involving rotating 12-hour shifts including days, weekends, and holidays, serves as a dynamic position that floats across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care locations. The Clinical Concierge acts as an essential liaison between patients and providers, guiding patients and their guests through the urgent care visit efficiently and with empathy. Key responsibilities include assisting healthcare providers with patient care and treatment, conducting laboratory testing, performing diagnostic x-rays within the LMRT scope of practice, and handling administrative duties such as patient registration, payment collection, rooming, and discharge.
Ideal candidates will be skilled in performing radiology examinations such as chest, extremity, skull, and spine x-rays, following established safety protocols and ensuring all imaging is accurately documented and shared with radiology for timely overread and reporting. The role demands collaboration with providers and clinical staff to maintain patient flow and deliver clinical excellence in a high-paced urgent care setting. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, strong judgment, discretion, and a commitment to building trust through empathetic patient interactions.
The position requires specialized training and certifications, including successful completion of an approved LMRT program with proficiency in chest, extremities, skull, and spine radiography, Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, and Texas Medical Board-issued LMRT licensure with relevant specialties. Prior healthcare experience, particularly in urgent care or similar clinical settings, is strongly preferred. Additional competencies such as venipuncture, medication administration, electronic health record documentation, and assisting with clinical procedures add value to the candidate's profile.
Working at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care offers enriching professional growth opportunities supported by a highly skilled team recognized with numerous awards like Best Urgent Care in various regional reader’s choice competitions and a Commission on Ambulatory and Urgent Care Quality (CAUCQ) Specialty Training Commendation. The organization fosters a collaborative and supportive workplace environment with ongoing education, including Medical Assistant certification renewal credits available during orientation.
Employees benefit from a comprehensive package including 401k, paid time off, medical and dental insurance, paid parental leave, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and student loan forgiveness programs. The Clinical Concierge LMRT role represents a rewarding career path for healthcare professionals passionate about patient care, eager to contribute to a high-quality urgent care team, and excited to grow within one of North Texas' most respected healthcare organizations.
