Job Description
Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is a prominent healthcare facility dedicated to providing comprehensive urgent care services to the North Texas community. Established with the needs of local residents in mind, this urgent care center operates across multiple locations, including its Coppell site located at 130 N. Denton Tap Road, Suite 140. Part of the extensive Texas Health system, which is one of the largest regional health networks, Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care combines convenience, accessibility, and quality care in a patient-friendly environment. The facility is designed to offer treatment for minor injuries and illnesses such as allergies, earaches, sprains, and strains. Open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., the centers are known for minimal wait times and the ability to dispense medications upon discharge. By summer 2021, the organization aims to expand to 20 locations across the Dallas Fort Worth area, further solidifying its commitment to serving the healthcare needs of the community.
This role of Clinical Concierge LMRT at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is a vital position responsible for elevating the patient experience through clinical and administrative support functions. The Clinical Concierge serves as a front-line team member who guides patients and their accompanying guests throughout the urgent care visitation process. This involves performing clinical duties under provider direction, such as assisting with patient care and treatment, running laboratory tests, and conducting x-ray examinations within the scope of the LMRT license. More than clinical expertise, this role demands exceptional interpersonal skills, including discretion, good judgment, diplomacy, and a customer-service-oriented attitude to build trust and rapport with patients.
The position is full-time, requiring three 12-hour rotating shifts weekly, covering days, weekends, and holidays within a broad time window from 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. The Clinical Concierge must also be adaptable, as the position floats among various Texas Health Urgent Care locations, ensuring consistent coverage where it’s most needed. This flexibility is matched by the expectation of maintaining proficiency across multiple clinical areas and functions, including patient registration using EPIC workflow, vital signs measurement, medication administration, venipuncture, diagnostic x-rays, and procedural assistance.
This role demands a valid LMRT license issued by the Texas Medical Board in specialties such as chest, extremities, skull, and spine. Additional qualifications, such as Medical Assistant Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, are required or highly preferred. The Clinical Concierge at Texas Health Breeze is not only pivotal in delivering timely and accurate clinical interventions but also plays a key role in ensuring a smooth patient flow, managing office supplies, supporting emergency care, and maintaining detailed documentation in the electronic medical record system.
In recognition of its excellence, Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care has earned multiple accolades such as Best Urgent Care in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by various reader’s choice awards and media recognitions in 2024. Furthermore, the facility proudly holds the Commission on Ambulatory and Urgent Care Quality (CAUCQ) Specialty Training Commendation, an indicator of its commitment to specialized urgent care training and exceptional patient experience. Working as a Clinical Concierge here means joining a supportive team environment that offers ongoing professional development, tuition reimbursement, student loan forgiveness, and comprehensive benefits including 401k and paid parental leave. This role provides not only clinical challenges but also opportunities for personal and career growth within a respected healthcare system committed to excellence and compassionate care.
