Job Description
Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is a leading healthcare provider in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, dedicated to delivering high-quality urgent care services to the community. Established with the needs of North Texans in mind, Texas Health Breeze offers treatment for a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries including allergies, earaches, sprains, and strains. The centers operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., every day of the year, ensuring accessibility and convenience for patients who can often receive treatment and medication with little to no wait times. Backed by Texas Health, one of the region's largest health systems, Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is continuously expanding with plans to open 20 locations by summer 2021. The organization has earned numerous accolades such as Best in DFW 2024 Dallas Morning News Gold Award for Best Urgent Care/Walk-in Clinic, multiple Reader's Choice awards from local media, and a Specialty Training Commendation from the Commission on Ambulatory and Urgent Care Quality (CAUCQ), underscoring its commitment to excellence in urgent care and patient experience.
The Clinical Concierge LMRT role at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care in Dallas is a vital position within the urgent care team. This full-time role requires working three 12-hour shifts weekly, including rotating days, weekends, and holidays, with working hours from 7:45 AM to 8:15 PM. The Clinical Concierge serves as the primary guide for patients and their accompanying guests throughout the visit, aiming to enhance the consumer experience by maximizing throughput and delivering clinical excellence. This position floats across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care locations, offering an opportunity to engage with diverse clinical environments and patient populations.
The Clinical Concierge is responsible for a variety of clinical and administrative functions. These include assisting healthcare providers with patient care and treatment, performing x-ray examinations within the licensed scope, conducting laboratory tests such as venipuncture, and facilitating patient registration, payment collection, rooming, and discharge processes. The role requires proficiency in operating electronic health records systems (specifically EPIC) to document medical histories, vital signs, allergies, medications, and test results with accuracy. The Clinical Concierge must maintain competency and perform in all assigned positions on a rotating basis, demonstrating discretion, good judgment, diplomacy, decision-making skills, and a customer service-oriented approach.
In addition to supporting routine urgent care procedures such as laceration repair and the application of orthopedic devices, the Clinical Concierge is also prepared to respond to emergency situations by recognizing emergent patients, performing basic life support (BLS), administering oxygen, and assisting providers with emergency care. This role offers significant opportunities for professional development, including earning certification contact hours during orientation and accessing a supportive team environment that promotes growth and innovation in nursing practice.
Working at Texas Health Breeze comes with a robust benefits package including 401(k) retirement plans, paid time off (PTO), medical and dental insurance, paid parental leave, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and student loan forgiveness programs. Employees benefit from a strong Unit Based Council and a workplace culture that values teamwork, patient-centered care, and continuous improvement. This role is perfect for licensed medical radiation technologists seeking to enhance their career within a renowned health system that prioritizes quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
