The Clinical Concierge Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) role at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care in Denton, Texas, is a critical position within the urgent care team. This full-time position involves working three 12-hour shifts per week on a rotating schedule that includes days, weekends, and holidays. The Clinical Concierge role is multifaceted, responsible for guiding patients and their guests through the urgent care visit, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of approved LMRT training program with proficiency in chest, extremities, skull, and spine
  • Successful completion of CHCP externship at Breeze Urgent Care
  • Minimum 6 months previous x-ray experience or completion of internal THR LMRT training program
  • LMRT license issued by the Texas Medical Board with required specialties
  • BCLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • THR Urine Drug Collector training within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to work full-time rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform venipuncture and medication administration per protocol

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of approved LMRT training program
  • Licensed LMRT with specialties in chest, extremities, skull, and spine issued by TMB
  • BCLS certification required
  • Previous x-ray experience or internal THR LMRT training
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred
  • Ability to perform injections if certified
  • Strong customer service and clinical skills
  • Experience in patient registration and clinical documentation

Job Duties

  • Collects identification and payor related documentation, conducts registration using EPIC workflow
  • Measures and documents vitals and communicates data to consumer and provider
  • Documents chief complaint, allergies, health history, and medications in EPIC
  • Performs and documents laboratory testing and collections per provider orders including venipuncture
  • Administers and documents oral and intramuscular medication
  • Assists provider with procedures such as sterile field maintenance, laceration repair, I&D, ortho-goods application
  • Performs diagnostic x-rays within licensed scope
  • Ensures proper x-ray protocols and image transfer to radiology
  • Provides empathetic patient interaction building trust and comfort
  • Welcomes patients and performs appropriate screening
  • Recognizes and notifies provider of emergent patients
  • Performs BLS, oxygen administration, and emergency care assistance
  • Schedules appointments for primary care referrals
  • Maintains office, medical supplies, and medications
  • Performs quality checks per policy
  • Other duties as assigned
