Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid Registered Nurse License
- Minimum two years of relevant nursing experience
- Residency within Baylor Scott & White service area, ideally Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to continued learning and professional development
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or four years of work experience
- At least two years of relevant work experience
- Registered Nurse License
- Experience in acute care hospital and/or outpatient clinic settings
- Strong knowledge of nursing/medicine specialties and hospital workflows
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Detail-oriented and organized approach to complex tasks
Job Duties
- Manage planning, organizing, and executing audit tasks in clinical departments/functions
- Evaluate clinical documentation for compliance with federal, state, and third-party regulations
- Identify opportunities to enhance performance and provide counsel to Revenue Integrity team and clinical departments/functions
- Document and track audit findings for account corrections and issue identification and mitigation
- Summarize audit results clearly and concisely
- Propose actions to improve internal controls and boost operational efficiency
- Provide training and education related to clinical audit processes as necessary
