Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year of healthcare experience or equivalent education in admitting, medical records, health information, or clerical support preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • proficiency in keyboarding and electronic systems navigation
  • ability to prioritize, problem-solve independently and mentor others
  • self-directed with initiative to support patients and colleagues
  • passion for healthcare and patient-centered service
  • BLS certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year of healthcare experience or equivalent education preferred
  • experience in admitting, medical records or health information, or applicable clerical support
  • familiarity with medical terminology
  • strong communication skills
  • keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions
  • BLS certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Scheduling patient appointments with accuracy and care
  • verifying insurance and handling patient registration
  • managing co-pay collections and balancing daily and weekly deposits
  • supporting front-office operations and serving as a resource for colleagues
  • assisting with limited coding and charge entry as needed
  • mentoring other staff and problem-solving independently
  • interfacing with physicians and other clinic staff regularly
