Located in Temple, Texas, Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Medical Center specializes in pediatric care, providing state-of-the-art services with a focus on pediatric endocrinology. The facility is part of the larger Baylor Scott & White network, offering patients access to specialized treatments and expert clinical teams committed to delivering the highest standard of healthcare.

The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) role within the Pediatric Endocrinology specialty at Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Medical Center is a full-time, day shift position offering regular Monday through Friday hours from 8am to 5pm, with no weekend duties required. This position plays a critical role in managing patient care coordination, guiding a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring optimized patient outcomes through comprehensive assessment, planning, and monitoring.

As a Clinic RN, you will apply your nursing expertise to evaluate patient conditions, identify potential health issues, and develop individualized care plans tailored to the unique needs of pediatric endocrinology patients. The position requires a strong dedication to patient safety, quality care delivery, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will also include educating patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans, supporting practice changes through research and quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with community resources for holistic patient care.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • hold a current registered nurse license
  • have at least two years of nursing experience
  • possess basic life support certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
  • demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • be proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records
  • maintain awareness of medical and legal regulations in nursing practice

Job Qualifications
