We are currently seeking a full-time Clinic Receptionist to join our team. The Clinic Receptionist plays a central role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for every individual who visits the clinic. This position is crucial in executing patient check-ins, managing appointment schedules, and coordinating essential administrative duties to streamline clinic operations. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and exemplify empathy, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal communication skills. Using technology efficiently, the receptionist helps maintain accurate patient records, processes insurance and payment information, and supports our orthopedic healthcare providers by preparing patient charts and handling other documentation requirements. Through their compassionate and patient approach, the receptionist enhances the overall patient experience and upholds the high standards of care valued by CommonSpirit Medical Group. Job Requirements

  • High school graduate general studies or high school GED general studies upon hire
  • One year of health care experience preferred
  • Electronic medical records experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform patient check-in and complete necessary paperwork to ensure efficient admitting process and compliance with clinic and regulatory policies
  • Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
  • Schedule appointments according to office guidelines
  • Obtain accurate patient and insurance information and collect copays and deductibles
  • Copy/scan patient access materials such as IDs, referrals, and insurance cards into electronic medical records
  • Prepare charts for patient appointments ensuring all information is complete
