Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 6 months relevant experience without a degree
- 1-2 years related experience preferred
- experience working knowledge of computers with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred
- good verbal communication skills

Job Duties
- Answering telephone and routing calls to the appropriate person
- professionally greet all patients and guests
- maintain a professional environment at all times and monitor reception and waiting areas
- distribute incoming mail
- obtain necessary signatures for processing admissions data
- ensure patient confidentiality at all times
- maintain accurate records of hospitalization and patient travel
- coordinate patient scheduling and ancillary testing
- prepare and organize medical records for travel, transplant, or disability
- coordinate paperwork for transient patients
- confirm admissions paperwork completion and distribution
- assist with medical appointment referrals and scheduling
- assist with transportation coordination and referrals
- complete data entry for Crown Web related to ESRD documentation
- scan monthly insurance cards
- set up and maintain filing systems and databases
- complete forms and reports as required
- prepare purchase orders
- assist with accounts receivable and payable functions
- maintain inventory of office supplies
- audit medical records for compliance
- assist with patient demographic and quality improvement data collection
- assemble, file, and maintain patient medical records
- print patient schedules and pull charts daily
- arrange package pickup and delivery
- assist with month-end reporting
- participate in team huddles and staff meetings
- attend education and training sessions and apply learnings
