Job Duties
- Provide day-to-day operational support to medical work unit personnel
- greet patients and schedule appointments
- maintain calendars and schedule tests
- make referrals according to instructions
- support billing functions of UW Veterinary Care
- serve as front desk staff within the healthcare facility
- provide operational phone support within the emergency medical facility
- prepare documents for patient admissions and appointments
- maintain appearance and cleanliness of reception and client waiting areas
- serve as cashier managing cash and credit transactions
- receive, submit, and respond to inquiries according to established policies and procedures
