Job Duties

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to medical work unit personnel
  • greet patients and schedule appointments
  • maintain calendars and schedule tests
  • make referrals according to instructions
  • support billing functions of UW Veterinary Care
  • serve as front desk staff within the healthcare facility
  • provide operational phone support within the emergency medical facility
  • prepare documents for patient admissions and appointments
  • maintain appearance and cleanliness of reception and client waiting areas
  • serve as cashier managing cash and credit transactions
  • receive, submit, and respond to inquiries according to established policies and procedures
