The role of Client Service Representative at GCVS is crucial in providing a warm and welcoming experience to all clients and their pets visiting the hospital. This full-time weekend days position offers an hourly wage between $17 and $19, depending on experience, with an additional $3 hourly weekend differential. As a Client Service Representative, you will serve as the essential first point of contact for clients, providing compassionate support, answering inquiries, coordinating patient admissions and discharges, scheduling appointments, and managing communications between clients and the medical team. This fast-paced role demands excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to multitask and adapt to the dynamic veterinary environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in veterinary client services or related field preferred
  • Weekend availability including Friday through Sunday

  • Positive attitude and team player mindset

  • Experience in a customer service role preferably in veterinary medicine

Job Duties

  • Educate and support clients and referring veterinarians about services
  • Assist clients in scheduling appointments at the hospital
  • Handle reminder and follow-up communications via phone and email
  • Accurately update and maintain client and pet records
  • Coordinate patient admissions and discharges
  • Process financial transactions and billing
  • Facilitate communication between clients and medical staff
