The role of Client Service Representative (CSR) at Evolution Veterinary Specialists is an integral part of the hospital's daily operations and a key link between clients, patients, and medical professionals. This position is offered on a full-time basis with available overnight and day shifts, reflecting the hospital's commitment to providing comprehensive care 24/7. Hourly pay ranges from $16.50 to $23.00, depending on experience and skill set, under a non-exempt hourly employee classification. The CSR role is in-person at the hospital with a variety of schedules, including Thursday through Saturday (3 shifts of 12 hours) and Sunday through Wednesday (4 shifts of 10 hours). As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, the CSR embodies the hospital's brand image by providing courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable service. Responsibilities range from scheduling appointments, managing client relationships, and resolving issues to handling multi-line phone systems and processing financial transactions with accuracy and empathy. Comforts such as offering refreshments to clients during wait times illustrate the hospital's commitment to client experience. The CSR is also expected to assist with specialized payment options like CareCredit and Pet Insurance applications and to manage patient records and correspondence professionally and confidentially. The position requires familiarity with practice management software (EzyVet) and payment platforms like PayJunction. It demands exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to operate independently with accountability and adherence to hospital policies. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2+ years customer service experience in fast-paced office setting or related field
  • 2+ years experience in veterinary ER hospital or similar role strongly preferred
  • Availability for overnight and day shifts, including Thursday-Saturday 3x12 hours and Sunday-Wednesday 4x10 hours schedules
  • Ability to work full-time averaging at least 36 hours per week
  • Proficiency with practice management software such as EzyVet
  • Experience handling financial transactions and payment systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working with various animal species including exotics
  • Commitment to hospital policies and procedures
