Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to five years of customer service experience depending on level
- one to five years of sales experience depending on level
- ability to work from a U.S. Bank location for scheduled workdays
- registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z
- successful completion of criminal background and credit checks
- compliance with U.S. Bank policies including Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
- ability to meet and maintain NMLS registration requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to five years of customer service experience based on level
- one to five years of sales experience based on level
- proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- effective selling and referral skills
- strong mathematical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- experience in the financial services industry preferred
- ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up
- knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation and systems varying with experience
- ability to explore and identify customer’s true needs using a digital first mindset
- experience with digital products and self-service technologies
- previous supervisory experience preferred for highest level
Job Duties
- Build relationships with customers via multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually
- assess and attend to customers' banking needs
- obtain and process customer and account information accurately
- educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services
- recommend financial solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs
- originate and close consumer loans
- open accounts and manage branch opening and closing operations
