With a strong emphasis on integrity, trust, and collaboration, the bank fosters an inclusive environment where every team member can thrive and contribute to collective goals. As an employer, U.S. Bank provides a variety of opportunities for career growth and development, emphasizing continuous learning and skill acquisition from Day One.
The Client Relationship Consultant role at U.S. Bank is pivotal in building and nurturing strong relationships with customers. This position requires engaging clients through multiple channels, including in-person interactions, scheduled appointments, and virtual communication, all while adopting a digital-first mindset to enhance service delivery. Client Relationship Consultants assess customers' banking needs, provide expert counsel, and guide clients through U.S. Bank's comprehensive product offerings, which include deposit accounts, loan products, and digital banking services. By understanding each client’s unique financial goals, consultants recommend customized solutions to help them achieve their objectives. To succeed in this role, candidates should have a solid foundation in retail banking, ideally with four to five years of job-related experience or equivalent training. The position requires registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z, including undergoing criminal background and credit checks. Maintaining compliance with these standards is essential for employment. The role demands proficiency in bank policies, procedures, and technology, including digital and self-service tools, to deliver an optimal client experience. Client Relationship Consultants work closely with branch teams to open new accounts, process service requests, submit credit applications, and educate clients on emerging banking technologies. This role is based at a U.S. Bank location, underscoring the importance of in-person client engagement alongside digital communication.
U.S. Bank offers a competitive salary range for this position, typically from $29.08 to $35.54 per hour, with variations depending on the job location. The bank also provides a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees’ health, financial security, and work-life balance. Benefits include healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision), life insurance options, disability coverage, paid leave, retirement savings plans, adoption assistance, and generous paid holidays.
