The Client Relationship Consultant role at U.S. Bank is designed for individuals passionate about building strong client relationships and delivering personalized financial solutions. This position focuses on engaging customers through multiple channels, including face-to-face interactions, scheduled appointments, and virtual meetings, adopting a digital-first mindset to enhance the client experience. The role requires proactive outreach and follow-up to deepen relationships, educate clients on digital banking services, and ensure operational excellence in all transactions.
In addition to providing a consistent, optimal client experience that includes greeting clients and processing basic banking transactions, Client Relationship Consultants collaborate closely with branch team members and cross-functional partners to serve customers effectively. Responsibilities include opening new consumer and business accounts, managing service requests, submitting credit applications, and educating customers on emerging digital tools. This role requires registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) as governed by the SAFE Act, emphasizing the importance of compliance, a strong ethical foundation, and accuracy.
This is a full-time position based at a U.S. Bank branch location, offering an attractive salary range of $21.81 to $26.65 per hour depending on location and experience. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to two years of retail banking experience or equivalent training
- ability to work from a U.S. Bank branch location
- must register with National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) including passing criminal background and credit checks
- compliance with U.S. Bank policies and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
- ability to meet all regulatory requirements including SAFE Act and Regulation Z
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to two years of retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow up
- strong communication and engagement skills
- basic knowledge of bank and branch policies and procedures
- proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- experience using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- ability to identify customer needs and make appropriate recommendations proactively and reactively
- financial services industry experience preferred
