Job Description

Lovet Pet Health Care is a well-established animal healthcare provider with a rich history dating back to 1984 when it opened the doors to its first animal hospital. Since then, Lovet has expanded its family to include over 20 locations across Arizona, Chicago, and Michigan. This growth reflects the company's deep commitment to offering outstanding healthcare to pets through a compassionate and expert team of over 500 veterinary care professionals. Lovet's mission is not just about medical care but about fostering trust and lasting relationships with pet owners, ensuring that every visit is a positive and reassuring experience for both clients and their beloved animals.

Lovet Pet Health Care is part of TAG - The Aspen Group, a larger family of independent healthcare practices dedicated to bringing better healthcare services to more people. TAG supports over 1,300 locations in 45 states through its six consumer healthcare brands, which include Aspen Dental, ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers, WellNow Urgent Care, Chapter Aesthetic Studio, and AZPetVet. This extensive network serves millions of patients annually, underscoring TAG's commitment to quality and accessible healthcare. TAG is headquartered at 800 W. Fulton Market in Chicago, and it prides itself on being an Equal Opportunity Employer, welcoming diverse applicants and ensuring a workplace free of discrimination.

The role of Client Relations Specialist (Front Desk Receptionist) at Lovet is a vital position within their veterinary care teams. This role is often the first and last point of contact for clients and their pets, serving as the welcoming face and voice of the hospital. Client Relations Specialists are responsible for creating a warm and friendly environment where clients feel valued, cared for, and reassured. They help build trust and loyalty by providing excellent customer service, clear communication, and support throughout every client interaction.

In this position, individuals will greet patients and clients with a smile and a calm, compassionate demeanor, helping to alleviate any anxiety associated with veterinary visits. The specialist will answer questions, direct clients to appropriate team members when needed, update patient records accurately, and handle financial transactions, including collecting and processing payments. Additionally, they assist clients in retrieving prescriptions, purchasing pet supplies and grooming products, and maintaining the front lobby area to ensure it is clean, neat, and welcoming.

This is a part-time or full-time position offering a competitive wage of $18 to $21 per hour. The role includes outstanding benefits such as three weeks of paid time off in the first year, seven paid holidays, a scrub/uniform allowance, and comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a health savings account (HSA). The company also offers paid parental leave, hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for personal and professional development, making it an excellent place to build a rewarding career in veterinary care support.

Candidates who succeed as Client Relations Specialists at Lovet are comfortable and compassionate around animals of all kinds, including furry, fuzzy, feathered, and scaly friends. They possess strong interpersonal and oral communication skills and have basic office capabilities such as typing, filing, and professional phone etiquette. While a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, the company values dedication and a willingness to learn, providing the training and support necessary to thrive and grow in this role. Joining Lovet means becoming part of a caring community dedicated to the health and happiness of pets and their owners, providing a meaningful way to make a difference every day.
