Job Description
Met Global Mobility is a distinguished provider of premium, private ground transportation programs catering to some of the world's most demanding and prestigious organizations. Operating primarily out of Boston and New York City, Met Global Mobility serves an elite clientele that includes Fortune 500 leadership, private jet clients, and family offices. The company thrives on trust, presence, and proximity rather than conventional sales tactics like cold calling, distinguishing itself through exceptional service and personal relationships. This commitment to high-quality, customized mobility solutions positions Met Global Mobility as a leader in the luxury transportation sector worldwide.
We are currently seeking a Head of Relationships to join our dynamic team in a crucial, hybrid role that blends community building with strategic sales expertise. This position plays a pivotal role in acting as the primary conduit to decision-makers and influencers who oversee global travel spend. The ideal candidate will split their time roughly equally between hosting exclusive gatherings for high-level professionals and strategically closing relationships to drive business growth.
The Head of Relationships will lead the Conduit Strategy by organizing and hosting high-signal, exclusive events such as dinners, speakers, and offsite meetings targeted at Executive Assistants, Global Travel Managers, and Principals in key markets including Boston, Miami, and New York. Beyond event execution, the role demands active relationship management where the candidate will nurture post-event engagements to convert guests into leads and, ultimately, brand evangelists. This role is not just about maintaining contact but about deepening trust and fostering an active, engaged community around Met Global Mobility's offerings.
Additionally, the candidate will serve as Met Global Mobility's human presence in high-level online communities, applying digital diplomacy skills to engage with stakeholders thoughtfully and authentically. This means contributing valuable insights, building rapport, and ensuring that the company’s digital footprint reflects the same level of white-glove service experienced in person.
Performance in this role is measured by clear KPIs focused on the conversion of trust into active platform users. The Head of Relationships will be responsible for tracking and reporting this important metric and consistently driving community members from being guests to becoming committed users.
We are searching for candidates who bring 3 to 5 years of experience in high-stakes, no-margin-for-error environments such as high-end hospitality, executive support, or luxury sales. A background as an Executive Assistant or in executive support is highly advantageous, as it provides an inside understanding of the dynamics within executive ecosystems. The successful candidate will possess sales DNA and a service heart, capable of converting relationships into revenue without adopting a pushy sales approach. The ability to read buying signals naturally, often in relaxed settings like over wine, is essential.
This role requires an individual who can navigate seamlessly between the perspectives of Executive Assistants and Global Travel Managers to CEOs, understanding the nuanced communication needs of different stakeholders. Meticulous follow-up and CRM proficiency using tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce are critical to managing and advancing every conversation effectively. Moreover, the successful candidate will exhibit high agency, proactively identifying and addressing gaps in relationships or community engagement to ensure continuous growth and cohesion.
Join Met Global Mobility as Head of Relationships to become a key figure in cultivating meaningful connections that drive our superior luxury transportation service forward, blending premium hospitality with strategic revenue generation in a role that is as rewarding as it is prestigious.
