Job Description

America's Rehab Campus is a leading healthcare facility specializing in addiction treatment and recovery services. This organization is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals struggling with substance abuse and related challenges. The facility operates as a fast-paced healthcare environment dedicated to supporting clients in early recovery through a variety of clinical and administrative services. It stands out by prioritizing a safe, welcoming, and professional atmosphere that respects patient confidentiality and adheres strictly to HIPAA regulations.

The company is currently seeking an Evening Receptionist to join its team. This critical role serves as the first point of contact for clients, families, and visitors during evening hours. The Evening Receptionist is responsible for ensuring a smooth and secure environment within the facility while supporting both clinical and administrative teams. The role demands strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive and sometimes emotionally intense situations with compassion and professionalism. Key aspects of this position include greeting and checking in visitors, managing phone inquiries including crisis calls, monitoring entry points for safety and compliance, supporting admissions by collecting client information, and performing various clerical and administrative duties.

The ideal candidate for this position possesses a high level of organizational and multitasking abilities, along with conflict resolution and de-escalation skills necessary for intervening in difficult situations effectively. The role also requires a nonjudgmental attitude toward individuals in recovery and a professional demeanor that reinforces the facility's commitment to providing a supportive environment. The work environment involves frequent interactions with clients in early recovery and may require managing exposure to emotionally charged circumstances. Physical demands include sitting, standing, and occasional light lifting.

This position requires the candidate to hold a High School Diploma or its equivalent, with additional administrative or healthcare experience preferred. Prior receptionist or customer service experience is strongly desired. The candidate must demonstrate basic proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office, email, and scheduling systems, alongside a sound understanding of confidentiality laws including HIPAA. Compliance with safety and health regulations is critical, including the requirement to obtain CPR/First Aid certification, Handle with Care training, and maintain a Fingerprint Clearance Card. Pre-employment screenings include criminal background checks, drug and alcohol testing, and TB testing.

America's Rehab Campus emphasizes equal employment opportunities and maintains a drug-free workplace. The facility complies with Veteran and ADA regulations, ensuring an inclusive and supportive work environment. The Evening Receptionist role not only supports the operational efficiency of the campus during critical after-hours periods but also contributes to its mission of delivering excellent care and fostering recovery with dignity and respect.
