The role of Client Concierge at Chewy Vet Care is essential to ensuring an outstanding pet parent experience from the very first visit. As a full-time member of the Healthcare Practice Team, the Client Concierge serves as the face of the practice, managing all front-end client interactions and patient intakes with warmth, empathy, and professionalism. This position involves engaging actively with pet parents, providing stellar customer service and communication, and supporting the veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and practice managers throughout daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery. The Client Concierge must be proficient with integrated technologies, including Practice Information Management Systems (PIMS), and adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standards of Care (SOC). They are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, managing pharmacy-related procedures responsibly, assisting with inventory communications, and participating in ongoing professional development and compliance training. This role demands excellent social, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, often requiring shifts that include weekends and occasional travel. With a focus on empathy for both clients and their pets, the Client Concierge plays a critical role in making each pet parent feel valued and supported throughout their veterinary journey, embodying the company culture and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the veterinary team.

Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years working in a customer-focused environment veterinary preferred
  • Strong ability to connect with clients and demonstrate empathy and compassion
  • Excellent social verbal and written communication observational and analytical skills
  • Passionate about helping people and pets with empathy and excellent customer service focus
  • Thrives in a fast paced self-starter environment

Job Duties

  • Focus on embodying the Chewy Vet Care culture to work collaboratively with peers and deliver the pet parent WOW experience within the practice providing stellar service and communication in addition to supporting the practice’s veterinarians veterinary technicians veterinary assistants and practice manager
  • Responsible for handling all patient intakes and providing all front-end client-facing interactions
  • Apply strong social and communication skills to engage actively with pet parents
  • Perform customer service skills to assist pet parents with providing medical care to their pet resolving any issues promptly
  • Apply integrated technology including being proficient using the corresponding Practice Information Management System (PIMS)
  • Understand and follow the practice’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standards of Care (SOC)
  • Act responsibly given the pharmacy holdings
  • Assist Practice Manager with communicating on inventory needs
  • Clean workspaces after every patient interaction
  • Participate in self-development courses and Chewy Vet Care required compliance training
  • Perform related duties and assignments as directed by management
  • May be required to work weekends position may require some travel
