The Client Advisor position is based at the new Beverly Hills, CA location and requires full-time availability including weekends. This role is in-person and offers an hourly wage range of $24-$26, with the compensation budget subject to adjustment at the company’s discretion. Client Advisors at Brilliant Earth play a crucial role in delivering exceptional luxury experiences to customers by guiding them through the entire sales journey across various platforms including in-person appointments, virtual meetings, phone calls, and live chat. This position requires a strong passion for customer service, a drive to surpass sales targets, and the ability to create personalized and memorable engagements for customers, especially during significant life moments such as engagements and celebrations.

Client Advisors utilize their deep product knowledge and strategic sales techniques to assist customers in selecting the perfect jewelry piece from the company’s luxury product line. They manage high volumes of incoming sales leads, handle post-sale interactions such as exchanges and resizing, and act as brand ambassadors who communicate Brilliant Earth’s ethical mission. The role also involves operational responsibilities such as opening and closing the showroom, managing appointment logistics including food and beverage offerings, and maintaining a safe, welcoming showroom environment that ensures product security.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to work full-time schedule including weekends
  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Utilize sales strategies and deep product knowledge to guide customers through multiple purchasing decisions via appointments and walk-in consultations, creating memorable and personalized experiences for each customer
  • Manage a high volume of incoming sales leads via email, live chat, and phones to attain individual revenue targets, providing a luxury customer experience reflective of our high-quality product
  • Proactively greet, check-in, and assist customers in the purchasing process, creating a memorable, one-on-one customer experience
  • Coordinate and lead intimate, elevated and personalized experiences that create meaningful, celebratory jewelry shopping experiences for couples
  • Facilitate all aspects of assigned front of house appointments, including preparing and serving food and drink offerings, offering gifts and celebrations with purchase
  • Conduct post-sale appointments to assist and educate customers returning for pick-ups, exchanges, re-sizing, and other inquiries
  • Call customers to confirm showroom appointments and answer any pre-appointment questions
  • Review customer feedback surveys and online reviews, working with your leaders to continuously improve the customer experience and your sales performance
  • Skillfully enforce policies within the waiting room to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all guests, and ensure product security
  • Open and/or close the showroom and front of house areas
  • Use our ERP system to manage your tasks and communicate cross-functionally
  • Act as a brand advocate, sharing our mission of creating a more sustainable, transparent, and compassionate jewelry industry
  • Participate in experiential activations and special events, as needed
