Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by a prominent casino and hotel establishment known for its dynamic and fast-paced environment. The facility thrives on providing excellent guest experiences through its well-maintained and attractive premises. As a leading player in the hospitality and gaming industry, the company emphasizes high standards of cleanliness and safety in all areas including the casino floor, hotel public spaces, offices, and other common areas to enhance the guest experience and ensure operational excellence.

The role being advertised is for an Environmental Services (EVS) Attendant, specifically for second and third shift positions starting at $12.76 per hour. This role is essential to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the casino and hotel environment. The position requires a person who can work efficiently in a high-energy, fast-moving workplace while paying close attention to detail. It involves teamwork, strict adherence to safety policies, regulations, and internal controls, as well as delivering unsurpassed guest service.

As an EVS Attendant, the primary responsibilities include comprehensive cleaning tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping tile floors, spot cleaning spills, emptying trash and recycling bins, dusting, cleaning windows and counters, and maintaining restrooms by scrubbing toilets, sinks, walls, and floors. The job also involves handling biohazard materials safely when they occur, restocking supply rooms, and organizing the working area. Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively, reporting maintenance or safety issues, and complying with company policies are vital parts of this position.

Candidates need to be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or moving objects up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance. The role is designed for individuals who show integrity, ethical conduct, and dedication to the company's mission and values while delivering professional guest interactions. The ideal candidate will have previous commercial, hospitality, or healthcare cleaning experience with the ability to complete Bloodborne Pathogens training and handle confidential information discreetly. This position provides a unique opportunity for individuals who seek to develop their career within the hospitality sector, especially in a large, reputable casino and hotel setting where cleanliness and guest satisfaction go hand in hand.
