This job opportunity is located at the Marshalls Store 0551 in Milpitas, CA. The position is focused on maintaining a clean and organized store environment, emphasizing the importance of floor care. The role involves key operational responsibilities such as operating floor cleaning equipment like scrubbers and buffers, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows to uphold the store’s high cleanliness standards. The incumbent will adhere strictly to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards, ensuring the store maintains a safe, appealing, and customer-friendly environment at all times.
Employees in this role are also cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store, supporting business needs and enhancing operational flexibility. This includes assisting with front-end coverage, participating in store recovery tasks, and following merchandising and signage standards. As a vital part of the store team, the role model’s excellent customer experience practices and contributes positively to the store culture by embodying honesty, integrity, and respect.
This position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, and the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to interact clearly with management and coworkers. Candidates must be able to respond proactively to changes and unexpected situations, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior retail or cleaning experience beneficial
- ability to operate floor cleaning equipment
- capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation
- availability to work flexible schedule
