This role at TJ Maxx, located at 7040 N Durango Dr, Las Vegas NV, offers a starting pay range of $14.50 to $15.00 per hour, with the exact starting pay determined by various factors including skills, qualifications, and experience. The position is primarily focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store environment with special emphasis on floor care. As a key member of the store team, the associate will be responsible for operating floor care equipment such as scrubbers and buffers and performing thorough cleaning tasks including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot-cleaning glass and windows. This role ensures cleanliness standards are rigorously met throughout the entire store including sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms.

Beyond cleaning, the role involves cross-training in various store areas like backroom, front end, and sales floor to provide comprehensive support across different store functions. The associate will play an active role in maintaining operational, merchandise, health and safety, and loss prevention standards, including adhering to labor laws and company policies. Additionally, the role involves proactive multitasking such as responding to front end coverage needs, participating in store recovery activities, and supporting a positive store culture built on honesty, integrity, and respect. Communication with management and fellow associates is crucial for smooth operations and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
