This part-time role at the TJ Maxx Store 0227 in Columbia, SC, offers a starting pay range between $12.75 and $13.25 per hour, reflecting the applicant's relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain a clean and organized store environment, with particular attention to floor care and general store upkeep. Duties include operating equipment such as scrubbers and buffers, performing dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. The role involves adhering to all operational standards, including merchandise presentation and loss prevention policies.

Employees in this role are cross-trained to support various areas of the store, including the sales floor, front end, backroom, and associate lounge, ensuring flexibility to meet the business's evolving needs. Taking part in store recovery throughout the day is also a key part of maintaining store standards and customer satisfaction.
