- physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor care equipment
- capable of multitasking
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- able to respond appropriately to changes or unexpected situations
- ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- standout colleague skilled at working with peers and supervisors
- retail customer experience preferred
Job Duties
- Operate scrubber and buffer to maintain floor care standards
- perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
- spot clean glass and windows
- maintain cleanliness in sales floor, backroom, associate lounge, restrooms, and front end
- adhere to health and safety policies including refilling essential items
- cross-train in multiple store areas including backroom, front end, and sales floor
- support front end coverage and respond to operational needs
- uphold merchandising and signage standards
- participate in store recovery tasks
- follow loss prevention and shrink reduction policies
- communicate effectively with management and associates
- comply with labor laws and associate meal and break policies
- maintain a safe environment and participate in safety awareness
- perform other duties as assigned
