The Cleaner position at Orange City Poker Room offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in joining the housekeeping team either on a full-time or part-time basis. The role is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the property, directly contributing to a positive guest experience. The Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning public areas, guest rooms, and restrooms according to department procedures, ensuring all spaces meet the facility's housekeeping standards. This includes replenishing supplies and maintaining sanitation protocols to promote a safe and hygienic environment.

In addition to cleaning duties, the Cleaner will engage with guests by assisting them as needed, which contributes to the welcoming atmosphere of the venue. They will conduct regular inspections of their assigned areas to ensure cleanliness, report any necessary maintenance repairs promptly to their supervisor, and manage lost and found items by ensuring they are turned in and logged daily. The Cleaner position offers a competitive pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Limited to no experience required
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools and fixtures
  • Ability to work quickly under pressure
  • Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations
  • No high school diploma or GED required

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Limited to no experience required previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools and fixtures
  • Ability to work quickly under pressure
  • Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations

Job Duties

  • Clean public areas, rooms, and restrooms according to department procedures and replenish supplies maintaining sanitation guidelines
  • Conduct walk-around of assigned areas to assure that the facility meets housekeeping standards
  • Interact with guests while cleaning guest and meeting rooms assisting guests as needed
  • Report maintenance repair problems to supervisor
  • Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged on a daily basis
