The Cleaner role is an essential position within our maintenance team. This role involves performing various janitorial duties focused on the upkeep and cleanliness of the corporate facility’s indoor environments, with occasional outdoor tasks as required. The cleaner is responsible for routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, as well as disinfecting and sanitizing office spaces, examination rooms, restrooms, and common areas. Additional tasks involve dusting, glass cleaning, emptying trash receptacles, and restocking paper products to ensure all areas remain hygienic and well maintained.

The position requires working Monday through Saturday for approximately one hour each day between 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM, with a flat-rate compensation of $25.00 per cleaning session. This role does not include work on Sundays, supporting a balanced workweek schedule. Reliable transportation is necessary to ensure timely arrival and completion of assigned duties during scheduled shifts.

Candidates for this role should have a high school diploma or equivalent, authorization to work in the United States, and a dependable approach to transportation and attendance. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles, specific knowledge of floor care including the operation of floor care machinery, and experience with window cleaning to fulfill additional cleaning responsibilities. Physical fitness is important as the job involves lifting over 10 pounds regularly, bending, stretching, twisting, reaching above the head, squatting, walking, standing for extended periods, and climbing stairs. Knowledge of safety procedures while using cleaning chemicals and machinery is crucial to perform the job efficiently and safely.
