The Cleaner II role at MSPM is a full-time position critical to upholding the aesthetic quality and overall ambiance of managed properties. Reporting to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, the Cleaner II is entrusted with maintaining cleanliness and order in all communal areas as well as apartment units. The responsibilities include routine upkeep such as vacuuming, dusting, wall washing, trash removal, and the cleaning of specialized areas like fitness rooms, clubhouses, offices, and more. This role also involves deep cleaning apartments post-tenant move-out, ensuring turnover is efficient and meets MSPM's high cleanliness standards within a strict four-day timeframe.
Candidates must be physically capable of performing tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Adaptability to various weather conditions and a professional demeanor are essential to provide residents and coworkers with a positive experience. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Able to twist bend stoop walk and reach above head to accomplish tasks
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in various weather conditions including rain heat cold wind and snow
- Maintain good physical hygiene and present a clean and professional image at all times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 years of previous cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good physical condition to meet job demands
Job Duties
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks including vacuuming dusting washing walls cleaning light fixtures trash removal and eliminating dirt and grime in all shared areas including clubhouse fitness room office spaces bathrooms theater room game room apartment models pool area pet boutique and other communal areas
- Execute deep cleaning of apartments following tenant move-outs to prepare them for new occupants within four days of vacancy including vacuuming cleaning vinyl floors appliances bathrooms and other residual messes
- Report any instances of misuse or violation of community rules and regulations including abuse of individual apartments
- Maintain a professional courteous knowledgeable and helpful attitude with residents and fellow employees
- Take proactive measures to enhance the exterior appearance of the property and buildings as needed or at the request of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager and remain vigilant for potential preventative maintenance issues
- Aid at sister properties as required
- Take initiative to elevate and sustain overall cleanliness
- Help with snow removal as needed
- Fulfill any additional duties as assigned
