The Clean-Up/General Labor role at Neenah Foundry Company provides an exceptional opportunity for motivated self-starters who are interested in learning and performing a variety of duties within the foundry production environment. This role is designed to support the production process by assisting in several key tasks such as pattern exchange, hauling iron, setting cores, blowing out molds, and cleaning up production areas. The position is ideal for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments with changing priorities and who want to develop skills across multiple facets of the foundry operation. No previous experience or specific educational qualifications are required as on-the-job training is provided, allowing individuals to grow their technical knowledge and craftsmanship within the foundry industry.

Employees in this position will work primarily within a manufacturing setting that involves physical labor in environments that may be hot and noisy. The duties include manual tasks such as shoveling and sweeping sand, operating hand and air tools, using hand hoists, and occasional forklift operation. Safety is a priority, and workers are responsible for adhering to lockout/tagout procedures to maintain a secure work area. The position requires individuals to be physically fit, able to lift up to 50 pounds, comfortable standing for extended periods, and capable of working in small spaces. Shift work is standard, with 10-12 hour shifts from Monday to Friday and some Saturdays, including mandatory overtime when production demands increase.
