Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older
- bi-lingual a plus but not required
- must pass drug test and background check
- must be authorized to work in the united states

- class c driver with a minimum of 2 years work experience and a clean driving record
Job Qualifications
- must possess a class c drivers license (cdl)
- require two years of experience utilizing an active class c driver's license
- must possess an acceptable motor vehicle record (mvr) based on hiring standards
- must meet all department of transportation (dot) regulatory requirements under section 391 of the federal motor carrier (fmc) regulations
- ability to count and perform basic math with or without a calculator
- must be 18 years of age or older
- bi-lingual is a plus but not required
- basic written and verbal communication skills
- ability to hook-up and break down sets of trailers requiring an average lift force of 100 pounds
- required bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items up to 75 pounds
- ability to sit for extended periods, bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of the truck
- ability to follow instructions and complete required training
- ability to work independently or as a team member
Job Duties
- operate bobtail trucks
- perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment
- perform freight handling using appropriate motorized and manual equipment including forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck
- secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, and rope
- recoup or repair damaged freight when necessary
- verify and complete required documentation and reports
- comply with hazardous material regulations and procedures
- collect cash or checks for freight charges and maintain required documentation
- follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch including delays, arrivals, and equipment problems
- demonstrate internal and external customer service
- communicate with customers to determine pick-up or delivery needs, solicit additional business, and provide leads to sales for potential new opportunities
- comply with all applicable laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- perform other duties as required
