Job Description
ProDrivers is a reputable company specializing in professional transportation and logistics services, dedicated to delivering essential medical equipment and supplies to healthcare facilities and patient homes. As a well-established local service provider, ProDrivers emphasizes reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction, operating within a highly regulated industry where precision and care are crucial. The company prides itself on fostering a positive work environment with structured schedules, meaningful roles, and consistent opportunities for its employees. ProDrivers offers stable employment with competitive compensation and benefits, catering primarily to drivers who value routine routes and customer interaction in healthcare settings.
The Class B Truck Driver position at ProDrivers is a pivotal role focused on last mile, white glove delivery of sensitive medical products such as dialysis medications and machines. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and a high level of professionalism, as drivers directly support patients, clinics, and hospitals by ensuring the safe and timely delivery of critical medical supplies. Drivers are entrusted with handling delicate items that require careful transportation and delivery, reflecting the company’s commitment to quality service and patient care.
This position is ideal for truck drivers who thrive on structured daily routes with 10-15 delivery stops and who appreciate the meaningful impact their work has on healthcare outcomes. ProDrivers equips its drivers with specialized tools like stair climbers and electric pallet jacks to assist with heavy lifting and ensure safety during deliveries. Physical endurance and the ability to lift heavy boxes repetitively are essential, underscoring the demanding yet rewarding nature of the job.
Customer service is a cornerstone of the role, as drivers represent ProDrivers in a highly visible capacity by engaging with healthcare professionals and patients with courtesy and a positive attitude. The role is heavily focused on providing a heavy touch delivery service, which means the driver’s responsibilities include careful handling and professional delivery inside customer locations, often inside patient homes or medical facilities.
The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, typically starting at 7 AM, with routes lasting between 10 to 12 hours per day. Some Saturdays may be required depending on delivery needs, with workdays varying based on specific delivery windows to meet customer demands effectively. This role offers a consistent and stable schedule, making it well-suited for drivers seeking routine combined with the fulfillment of contributing to patient wellbeing.
ProDrivers provides competitive pay for this position, with weekly earnings ranging from $975 to $1300. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and IRA plans, supporting the holistic well-being and financial security of its employees. The recruitment process is efficient and designed to welcome dependable drivers who are committed to excellent customer service and prefer a local delivery role within the medical supply industry.
