Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid CDL-B license
- 6-12 months driving experience
- Must be 21 years or older
- Meet all state licensing and or certification requirements where applicable
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and or other equipment to move and stack product cases freight of varying size and weight

Job Duties
- Performs all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation regulations
- Reports all safety issues and or repairs required
- Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Performs count check of items and checks customer invoices of loaded products
- Completes all required paperwork accurately and legibly associated with freight
- Moves tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed
- Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- Unloads products from trailer and transports items into designated customer storage areas
- Performs damage control checks on items and contacts supervisor about removing orders per company policy
- Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtains proper signatures
- Collects money where required
- Loads customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
- Ensures tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- Unloads damaged goods and customer returns and completes necessary paperwork
- Unloads all equipment, materials, and removes trash from trailers
- Completes daily record of hours of service and enters log as per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
- Performs general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keeps trailers clear and clean
- Secures all equipment and completes all necessary paperwork at end of shift
- Performs other related duties as assigned
