Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 12 months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-B
- Minimum age 21 years
- Meet state licensing and certification requirements
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass drug test
- Pass criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or possess valid DOT Health Card
- Ability to hand-lift and use equipment to move freight weighing 10 to 90 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 12 months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-B license
- Must be 21 years or older
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post-offer drug test
- Pass criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Possess or obtain valid DOT Health Card
- Ability to hand-lift and use relevant equipment for product handling
Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks and inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Follow all DOT regulations and company driving policies, immediately report safety hazards
- Perform count check of items and verify customer invoices for loaded products
- Accurately complete all required paperwork related to freight
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailers as needed
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to scheduled routes
- Unload products and transport items into designated customer storage areas
- Perform damage control checks, scan items, and report issues to supervisor
- Verify delivery with customers and obtain signatures
- Collect payments where required
- Load customer returns onto trailers and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight security at all times
- Unload damaged goods and returns, complete necessary paperwork
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and loading areas
- Complete daily hours of service logs in compliance with federal and company requirements
- Secure equipment and paperwork at shift end
- Perform other duties as assigned
