The CDL-B Driver position at Performance Foodservice is a key role within the company’s logistics and distribution operations. This full-time role typically follows a five-day work week schedule with dispatching hours that fall between midnight and 6 am. Pay starts at $210 per day or more depending on the specific route components, and the position also offers a substantial $4,000 sign-on bonus as an incentive. Drivers operate tractor trailers or straight trucks on both intrastate and interstate routes, which may include local deliveries, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, overnight, or drive-and-drop routes. The role requires a valid CDL-B license, at least 12 months of commercial driving experience, and the ability to meet all state licensing and certification requirements. Successful candidates must also have a clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past three years, pass a post-offer drug test, a criminal background check, and a road test, and either possess or be able to secure a DOT Health Card.
