The position of US Foods Driver is a crucial role within the company, offering individuals the opportunity to contribute directly to the customer experience and the operational success of the organization. This role is primarily responsible for safely operating delivery trucks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food products to customers, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service and professional conduct. The expected compensation for this role is $31.05 per hour, with additional overtime opportunities available depending on workload and operational needs. The US Foods Driver position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing multiple tasks associated with food delivery logistics. Job Requirements

  • Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a valid CDL Class B license issued by state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months in the food and beverage delivery industry
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
  • Must be able to read and communicate in English
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ pounds repeatedly
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather with frequent stops

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Duties

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
  • Carefully unload products from trailers using two-wheelers, pallet jacks, or by hand and place them in designated areas
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
  • Provide professional customer service to enhance client experience
  • Adhere to safety and regulatory standards during all delivery operations
