Job Description
CPC Logistics is a reputable logistics and transportation company that operates a driver staffing operations center serving the Rock Hill, South Carolina area. Known for its commitment to reliable and efficient delivery services, CPC Logistics specializes in various transportation solutions including medical supply delivery, which requires punctuality, professionalism, and excellent customer service. The company values its employees highly, offering competitive wages and benefits designed to support both the driver and their family. CPC Logistics emphasizes safe driving practices, professionalism, and customer care in all of its operations, making it a preferred employer for professionals seeking a stable career in the driving and delivery industry.
Currently, CPC Logistics is hiring Class B CDL delivery drivers to work primarily in Rock Hill, SC. This position is structured as a full-time role with a Monday through Friday schedule, including occasional Saturdays. The first shift starts early, with some routes beginning around 5 AM and the official shift hours spanning 7 AM to 7 PM. The starting pay for this position is $24.50 per hour, with overtime pay kicking in after 40 hours weekly, presenting a lucrative opportunity for those seeking both consistent schedules and the potential for earning more through overtime.
The role involves delivering medical supplies and equipment to various clinics and residential homes. This requires a high level of professionalism and customer service experience, as drivers often interact directly with customers and medical staff. The responsibilities include operating refrigerated trucks safely and efficiently, handling touch freight, and adhering to any medical and safety regulations tied to transporting medical supplies. CPC Logistics offers a host of benefits including a driver referral bonus program, weekly pay, loyalty bonuses for long-term employees, and a 401(k) retirement plan, which together create an appealing career path for delivery drivers looking to establish themselves in the logistics industry.
Applicants must have at least 12 months of recent (within the last 36 months) Class B truck driving experience, particularly with refrigerated trucks to handle the sensitive nature of the cargo. Safety is a paramount concern; therefore, all drivers must meet specific driving record requirements and have no DUI or serious violations in the past five years. Candidates must pass DOT physicals and drug screens and be ready to start promptly. The company is actively encouraging new drivers to apply quickly, as only a limited number of positions remain open. The referral program rewards current employees who bring in qualified new drivers with a bonus paid incrementally. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who desire a balance between earning strong wages and maintaining a healthy work-life balance in a structured yet supportive environment.
