The role available is for a Food and Food Service Delivery Driver, a vital position within the company that supports America’s food supply chain. This full-time role offers competitive hourly pay of $22, with a schedule from Tuesday to Saturday featuring start times averaging between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m., and shifts typically lasting 10 to 12 hours. Delivery Drivers are accountable for driving tractor trailers or straight trucks on various local and interstate routes, including over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight drive and drop assignments. Their primary responsibility is to ensure the safe and timely delivery of food products to customers, maintaining product integrity and meeting scheduled delivery times. They are often the direct contact with customers and thus serve as a key representative of the company’s professionalism and customer service values.

This position demands strict adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety guidelines. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns, verifying freight security and product counts, and accurately completing all necessary documentation. Drivers interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, ensuring efficient communication and the resolution of inquiries. They are expected to safely operate equipment like hand trucks and lift gates to load and unload product cases that vary in size and weight, sometimes up to 90 pounds.
