The CDL Operator supervises and completes single task jobs requiring one crew and assists in managing turnarounds with oversight at client sites in accordance with company policies and client requirements. The operator will be responsible for ensuring safety compliance, operating specialized equipment such as vacuum trucks, hydroblasting equipment, and ultra high-pressure pumps, and performing routine maintenance on company assets.

The CDL Operator acts as the safety representative on site, with a role that involves direct communication concerning operations, emergency response, safety procedures, and equipment handling. The position requires operation of specialized hydroblasting, chemical cleaning equipment, and vacuum trucks, along with coordinating crew activities and transporting equipment and personnel to various locations. Drivers must complete pre and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate driver logs, and comply with Department of Transportation regulations. Additional duties include loading and unloading hoses, unloading vacuum trucks at dump sites, and providing general maintenance in the field as needed.
