This exciting opportunity is for a Food and Food Service Delivery Driver, a position integral to maintaining the strength and reliability of the nation’s food supply chain. As a Delivery Driver for Core-Mark, you will be entrusted with operating tractor trailers or straight trucks on various routes, including local, intrastate, interstate, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight drives. Your responsibilities will ensure that food and related products reach customers safely, timely, and undamaged, fully complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies. The role requires conducting thorough safety checks before and after trips, including inspections of the vehicle and trailer, guaranteeing that equipment meets all safety standards and proactively addressing any required repairs or concerns. Your duties also involve verifying product counts against customer invoices, completing accurate paperwork related to freight, and managing the loading or unloading of goods. In the course of deliveries, you will interact directly with customers, obtaining proper signatures and processing payments when necessary. Secure handling of freight and equipment, maintaining clean conditions in your vehicle and work area, and accurate record-keeping of hours driven in compliance with Federal DOT and company regulations are also critical functions of this role.

Core-Mark values teamwork and expects drivers to collaborate with departments across the organization, assisting with various tasks to best support company objectives. Drivers must be physically able to load, unload, and stack products using hand-lifts, two-wheelers, lift gates, or other equipment. Products typically weigh between 10 and 35 pounds but can sometimes range up to 90 pounds, depending on location. Safety hazards must be reported immediately to ensure a safe working environment for all.
