This role is essential within the Second Harvest Food Bank, focusing on the collection and delivery of fresh, frozen, and processed food products and materials within and outside Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. It requires dedication to professionalism and courteous interactions with suppliers, clients, and volunteers. By performing these duties, the position supports Second Harvest's overarching mission to bring relief to those struggling with hunger. The ideal candidate will be a dependable driver with a minimum of two years of professional truck driving experience, preferably in environments related to food. They must possess a valid California Class A driver’s license and forklift certification, alongside the ability to manage standard warehouse equipment safely. Responsibilities extend beyond delivery; the candidate will also maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with food safety and vehicle sanitation standards, and help uphold warehouse organization and cleanliness. The work schedule demands flexibility with some weekend and overtime shifts as needed, reflecting the dynamic nature of the organization’s operations.

The compensation package for this full-time position starts at an hourly wage of $28.16, commensurate with the candidate's skills and experience.
