The Driver position at Second Harvest of Silicon Valley plays a crucial role in the organization’s mission to end hunger by collecting and delivering fresh, frozen, and processed food products and materials across Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. This role requires a professional and courteous approach in dealing with suppliers, clients, and volunteers to maintain dignity and respect for all constituents and to represent the Food Bank positively. The driver will manage timely product donations pick-ups and deliveries to various agency sites, including Brown Bag and Family Harvest, ensuring food safety compliance and professionalism at all times. Responsibilities extend to maintaining accurate records, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and assisting with warehouse maintenance, among other duties. This is a full-time, onsite position based in San Jose/San Carlos with an hourly wage starting at $35.01, commensurate with skills and experience.
