Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
  • No DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
  • No more than 3 traffic violations in past 3 years
  • Hazmat endorsement prior to hire
  • Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain

  • Hazmat endorsement obtained prior to hire
  • Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain with reimbursable renewals
  • At least 1 year of commercial driving experience
  • No DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
  • No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
  • Ability to perform physical demands of the position including lifting, carrying, and maneuvering freight

Job Duties

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or immediate supervisor
  • Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and appropriate paperwork accompanies shipment to delivery point
  • Load and/or unload a wide variety of freight onto and off company motor vehicles at customer locations and terminal with or without mechanical assistance
  • Complete all required paperwork in accordance with government regulations and company procedures/policies
  • Operate company motor vehicles safely and efficiently adhering to specified routes and schedules
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery status and issues
