The available position is for a Class A Route Delivery Driver based in Missoula, MT, within the non-exempt employment category. This role primarily involves operating a company-owned commercial motor vehicle to transport freight safely and efficiently to designated customer locations and terminals. The driver is responsible for adhering to company policies and government regulations, ensuring all freight is handled with the utmost care, and maintaining accurate documentation for shipments. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday with a 6 AM start time, offering a consistent workweek and a competitive pay rate of $31 per hour.

As a Class A Route Delivery Driver at CCFS, candidates will experience a dynamic role that goes beyond mere driving. They will be integral to the supply chain, ensuring the timely delivery and pickup of freight while engaging in hands-on tasks such as unloading, sorting, palletizing, and reloading a variety of cargo items. Using mechanical aids when necessary, drivers must handle freight weighing up to 2,500 pounds and carry loads up to 40 pounds across short distances, demonstrating physical endurance and attention to safety protocols. Furthermore, they will perform critical pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee the operational safety of their assigned vehicles.

Ideal candidates for this position will have a valid Class A CDL, be at least 21 years of age, and possess at least one year of commercial driving experience. Additionally, candidates must hold or be willing to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, with renewal costs reimbursed by the company.
