The company specializes in industrial cleaning, waste disposal, emergency spill response, and environmental consulting services. Positioned as an industry leader, Clean Harbors is recognized for its strong emphasis on safety practices and compliance with government regulations to ensure a safe and sustainable environment for employees, clients, and communities.

Clean Harbors is currently seeking an Owner Operator with a Class A CDL to join their safety-conscious team in Las Vegas, NV. This opportunity involves dry van transportation primarily between the Pacific Northwest and Kimball, Nebraska, covering an average of 2800-3000 miles per week. The role emphasizes safety as the number one priority, backed by Clean Harbors' culture of maintaining positive and safe work environments. Employees benefit from weekly home time, a competitive compensation package, and a clear emphasis on health and safety.

This Owner Operator position offers an average yearly earning potential of $200,000 to $250,000. Compensation includes payment for all on-duty time with hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and mileage pay. The role requires operating tractor-trailer units, managing proper loading/unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste while abiding by all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations including vehicle placarding. The successful applicant must also maintain accurate daily logs, invoices, dispatch reports, vehicle inspection records, and other relevant documentation.

Clean Harbors prides itself on its commitment to health and safety, living its safety principles every day of the year (365 days a year). The company’s proactive approach to safety ensures that all employees are supported in following safe work practices and policies. Working for Clean Harbors means being part of a company that values compliance, responsibility, and employee well-being.

This role is ideal for a qualified Class A CDL owner-operator with the necessary endorsements who is looking for a stable route with consistent weekly miles and guaranteed home time. Owners who are self-motivated, safety-conscious, and experienced in handling hazardous materials will find this role rewarding. Clean Harbors supports its truck operators by providing the resources necessary to succeed, including up-to-date technology for job-related communications and reporting.

As an equal opportunity employer, Clean Harbors values diversity and inclusion in its workforce and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. The company also welcomes military veterans and prioritizes fair compensation aligned with pay transparency laws. This position is more than just driving; it’s about being a responsible transportation professional who contributes to environmental safety while earning a competitive income.
