The Tractor Trailer Delivery Driver role is an essential position within Core-Mark’s operations. This full-time role offers competitive hourly pay starting at $30 per hour, with additional overtime and bonus pay, which enables first-year earnings between $75,000 and $84,000. Drivers follow Monday through Friday schedules and are eligible for annual merit increases. The position also involves supervising a staff of six delivery drivers, providing mentoring, training, and leadership to ensure high performance and safety standards are maintained.

In this role, the driver is responsible for intrastate and interstate transportation of food and food-related products to customers. Adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations is critical, as drivers must perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections of their vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. The responsibilities also include conducting count checks, completing accurate paperwork for all freight, loading and unloading products, and managing customer interactions professionally.

Customer service is a vital part of this position. The driver serves as the face of Core-Mark at delivery points, answering questions and resolving issues professionally and promptly. They also handle financial transactions where necessary, including the collection of cash or checks from customers. Additional duties involve maintaining clean and organized trailers and loading dock areas, performing general housekeeping tasks, and securing equipment after each shift.

Core-Mark places strong emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and safety. The driver works closely with vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure that deliveries are executed according to plan and that the highest quality customer experience is delivered consistently. This role is suitable for experienced commercial drivers who possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and meet DOT medical standards. Prior commercial driving experience of one to two years is required.

Job Duties
