Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- meet DOT medical requirements
- 1 to 2 years of commercial driving experience
- ability to work Monday through Friday schedule
- ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- strong communication skills
- reliable and safety-conscious
Job Qualifications

- meet medical requirements of DOT
- 1 to 2 years of commercial driving experience
- ability to mentor and train other drivers and helpers
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to complete detailed paperwork accurately
- knowledge of DOT safety regulations
Job Duties
- Drive a tractor trailer on intrastate and interstate routes for delivering and unloading food products
- perform pre-trip safety checks of truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- inspect cab and trailer to ensure company quality standards
- perform count checks of items and verify customer invoices
- complete required paperwork accurately for freight
- communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- unload products and place them in designated customer storage areas
- perform damage control and report issues to supervisor
- verify delivery and obtain customer signatures
- collect payments when required
- load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
- unload damaged goods and returns at check-in dock
- maintain cleanliness of trailers and loading dock area
- complete daily logs of hours of service per DOT requirements
- perform post-trip safety checks and secure vehicle
- mentor and train drivers, helpers, and yard drivers
- perform other related duties as assigned
