The CDL-A Driver role at Performance Food Group is essential in maintaining the integrity of the food distribution system. This position involves delivering food and food-related products safely and promptly to customers, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation. As a CDL-A Driver, you will be the face of the company, fostering positive interactions with customers, vendors, and co-workers while adhering to strict Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies. In addition to driving responsibilities, the CDL-A Driver will perform pre- and post-trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
